The biggest surprise of round 8 took place in Busan where guestAnyang (#1) beat lower ranked Suwon KT (#3) by 5 points 92-87 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Anyang dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Sonicboom 's 36. The best player for the winners was who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 22 points. Anyang's coach Seung-Ki Kim used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Derrick Williams (203-1991, college: Arizona) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and added 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Four Sonicboom players scored in double figures. Anyang have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-2 record, which they share with LG Sakers. Suwon KT at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with KCC Egis.
